Frequently Asked Questions

Answers in plain language about what we do, which platforms we work with, how compliance works, and how engagements are structured.

What does Solution Driven Technology do?
Solution Driven Technology builds operations systems and automation for financial advisors and firms. We optimize CRM platforms like Redtail and Salesforce, clean up advisor data, automate workflows, build custom tools, and provide supporting IT infrastructure. We do all of this so advisors can focus on growing the practice rather than managing admin work.
What CRMs and platforms do you work with?
We work natively in the systems financial advisors run on: Redtail CRM, Salesforce, eMoney, GReminders, SmartOffice, MyRepChat, Power Automate, Zapier, Albridge, Egnyte, and Holistiplan, among others. We also build custom integrations connecting platforms that weren't designed to communicate with each other.
Are your solutions broker-dealer compliant?
Yes. Every solution goes through your firm's compliance review before it goes live. SDT prepares what the reviewer needs. Nothing goes live before that review.
Do you only work with financial advisors?
Financial advisory firms are our primary focus. We also handle the IT an advisory practice needs: networks, phone systems and custom installations. We take on other businesses too, on prepaid block time.
Do you only work with advisors in New Jersey?
We are based in North New Jersey and serve financial advisors and firms nationwide. Software engagements run fully remote. That includes CRM work, automation, data cleansing, and custom apps. On-site IT and infrastructure work is available for practices in North New Jersey and the surrounding region.
How do engagements work?
Most engagements begin with a CRM and operations audit: a review of your CRM data quality, manual processes, systems that do not talk to each other, reporting gaps, and whether current tools would clear your firm's compliance review. You receive a written findings report and a prioritized list of fixes. Then the work is built and goes through your firm's compliance review before it goes live.
How long does a typical engagement take?
Timeline depends on scope. A targeted workflow automation or CRM data cleanup can be completed in a few weeks. A full operations buildout covering CRM configuration, automation, data cleansing, and custom tools typically runs over several months, with ongoing optimization afterward. We scope each engagement clearly upfront so there are no timeline surprises.
What does the CRM and operations audit involve?
The audit reviews your CRM data quality: duplicates, blank fields your firm requires, household and contact relationships, and invalid emails, phones and addresses. It also looks at manual processes that could be automated, systems that do not talk to each other, reporting gaps, and whether current tools and workflows would clear your firm's compliance review. You receive a written findings report and a prioritized list of fixes.
