08 Common questions

Questions we hear most often.

Answers about what we do, which platforms we work with, how compliance works, and how engagements are structured — in plain language.

What does Solution Driven Technology do?
Solution Driven Technology builds operations systems and automation for financial advisors and firms. We optimize CRM platforms like Redtail and Salesforce, clean up advisor data, automate workflows, build custom tools, and provide supporting IT infrastructure — all so advisors can focus on growing the practice rather than managing admin work.
What CRMs and platforms do you work with?
We work natively in the systems financial advisors run on — Redtail CRM, Salesforce, eMoney, GReminders, SmartOffice, MyRepChat, Power Automate, Zapier, Albridge, OnceHub, Egnyte, and Holistiplan, among others. We also build custom integrations connecting platforms that weren't designed to communicate with each other.
Are your solutions broker-dealer compliant?
Yes. Every solution we build operates strictly within broker-dealer guidelines and is submitted for approval before implementation. We don't go live with anything that hasn't been reviewed — so advisors get efficiency without compromising oversight or putting their compliance standing at risk.
Do you only work with financial advisors?
Financial advisors and firms are our primary focus and where all of our operational expertise lives. We also handle the supporting IT infrastructure — networks, phone systems, and custom installations — that an advisor practice needs to operate reliably. We don't take on generalist IT or operations work outside the financial advisor space.
Do you only work with advisors in New Jersey?
We are based in North New Jersey and serve financial advisors and firms nationwide. Software engagements — CRM work, automation, data cleansing, custom apps — run fully remote. On-site IT and infrastructure work is available for practices in North New Jersey and the surrounding region.
How do engagements work?
Most engagements begin with a discovery session to audit your technology stack and identify the highest-impact opportunities. We turn those findings into a clear, priced scope of work — no vague proposals. Once approved, we move into build, deploy, and ongoing optimization phases. You always know exactly what we're building and what it costs.
How long does a typical engagement take?
Timeline depends on scope. A targeted workflow automation or CRM data cleanup can be completed in a few weeks. A full operations buildout — CRM configuration, automation, data cleansing, and custom tools — typically runs over several months, with ongoing optimization afterward. We scope each engagement clearly upfront so there are no timeline surprises.
What does a discovery session involve?
A discovery session is a working audit of your current technology stack, workflows, and operational pain points. We review your CRM setup, data quality, existing automations, and the gaps in your current processes — then turn that into a prioritized recommendation and a clear, priced scope of work. It's the starting point for every engagement.
